I'm considering buying the Acer KG271U N3bmiipx for photo/video editing and gaming. The problem is that I keep finding conflicting information: Acer advertises 95% DCI-P3.
The KG271U N3bmiipx's IPS panel is native 8-bit at 16.7 million colors with no FRC disclosed, but Acer publishes no factory Delta E or sRGB spec.

That’s circumstantial rather than lab-verified, but it’s consistent with a native 8-bit panel rather than a dithered one marketed as 8-bit.
DCI-P3 95% is a video number more than a photo number
DCI-P3 is the cinema/HDR-video gamut; the standard photo-editing and web target is sRGB, and Acer doesn’t publish an sRGB percentage for the N3bmiipx at all. If the work is hobbyist photo editing or YouTube-level video alongside actual gaming, the N3bmiipx’s combination of a real 8-bit panel and 95% DCI-P3 at 180Hz is a genuinely unusual spread for a gaming-branded monitor — most gaming monitors at this refresh rate don’t bother publishing a DCI-P3 number at all.
