Lenovo uses very similar names for different Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 generations. That is the trap behind most bad ROM-download results. Start with Lenovo RSA for the official stock ROM

Use Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant first. Lenovo describes Software Fix / Rescue and Smart Assistant as an official PC tool for Lenovo Android phones, Motorola phones, and Lenovo tablets, with functions including device software flashing. Lenovo’s FAQ says the rescue function is for tablets that cannot power up correctly or have software-related issues, and that Rescue erases user data.

The practical route is:

1. Install Lenovo Software Fix / Rescue and Smart Assistant from Lenovo Support on a Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit PC.
2. Choose the tablet rescue path.
3. Enter the device serial number when prompted, or connect the tablet when RSA asks for it.
4. Let RSA download the matching firmware itself.
5. Rescue the device only after backing up anything still accessible.

This is the best answer for a boot loop, failed OTA update, broken system partition, or “tablet stuck on Lenovo logo” situation. It is also the least risky route because the tool chooses firmware by serial/model instead of relying on a forum post.

The limit: RSA may only offer the latest firmware it has for that serial number. It is not a convenient downgrade tool, and it may not offer a China-to-global conversion for an imported Xiaoxin unit. If RSA does not recognize the serial number, the next step is Lenovo support or the seller, not guessing a ROM from another Xiaoxin model.

TB371FC and TB375FC firmware is not interchangeable

TB371FC is the Snapdragon Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 generation. Lenovo’s own knowledge-base page names it as “小新 Pad Pro 12.7（骁龙版）” and lists the applicable host model as TB371FC.

Third-party firmware index pages currently list stock China ROM packages for TB371FC, including a build named TB371FC_CN_OPEN_USER_Q00028.1_U_ZUI_16.0.474_ST_241129. That kind of page can be useful as a reference, but it is not the same as Lenovo RSA choosing a firmware by serial number. Treat it as a technician-level fallback, not the normal download path.

For TB371FC, the safer order is:

1. Try Lenovo RSA by serial number.
2. If the tablet still boots, update from Settings > System update before flashing anything manually.
3. If you must use a downloaded package, confirm the filename begins with TB371FC, confirm the region is the one you actually want, and keep a copy of your original partitions if you know how to back them up.
4. Do not use MediaTek SP Flash Tool instructions meant for TB375FC; TB371FC and TB375FC are not interchangeable.

A ROM with the wrong model code can hard-brick the tablet. A “Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7” label is not specific enough.

The global ROM path for TB375FC

TB375FC is the newer Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 generation. Lenovo’s support page for the TB375FC user guide confirms that model code, and Lenovo’s product page lists the 2025 hardware around MediaTek Dimensity 8300.

Community guides exist for flashing a global ZUI ROM on TB375FC. One detailed guide says the global ROM can be flashed without unlocking the bootloader, but it also warns that switching between China ROM and Global ROM or downgrading erases data. The same guide gives MediaTek/SP Flash Tool steps, tells users to back up partitions first, and specifically warns against flashing critical partitions such as lk_a, lk_b, dtbo_a, and dtbo_b because mistakes can permanently brick the device.

That means a global-ROM download is not a casual “install APK, reboot, done” fix. It is firmware flashing. The correct decision is:

• Choose China ROM if you want the least flashing risk, can live with Chinese-market software quirks, and mainly care about gaming performance.
• Choose a seller-installed global ROM only if the seller clearly states the exact model, ROM type, update behavior, and return policy.
• Avoid a converted ROM if banking apps, Widevine/DRM reliability, OTA updates, or warranty support matter more than convenience.
