If you want to carry personal and work numbers using two physical cards, the relevant specification is “Dual nano-SIM slot.” OnePlus explicitly lists that hardware alongside the 16GB/512GB configuration and 5G NR connectivity. The purchasing trap is treating every listing containing “OnePlus 15,” “dual SIM” and “512GB” as the same regional product. Before ordering, ask for the intended sales region and exact model identifier from the box. Match those details to your carrier’s compatibility requirements, particularly when buying an import.

OnePlus’s US product page prominently advertises dual eSIM. However, footnote 24 says the feature is scheduled to arrive through an over-the-air update. • Two physical cards: verify the regional handset has the documented dual nano-SIM tray.
• A physical home SIM and a travel eSIM: verify native eSIM support and the supported simultaneous SIM combination for that model.
• Two eSIMs enabled together: obtain confirmation for the exact regional model and installed software build before buying for this purpose.

For the third case, ask OnePlus support specifically whether two eSIM profiles can be enabled simultaneously. Asking whether the phone “supports eSIM” leaves the crucial question unanswered. Request the required software version as well.

The documentation reviewed here does not establish a delivered firmware version that enables dual eSIM across all regions. The 512GB upgrade is useful; battery life has measured support

More RAM does not improve carrier compatibility or unlock missing eSIM hardware; those remain separate purchasing decisions.

Battery endurance is a stronger reason to choose this phone than the RAM figure alone.
