Also avoid listings that promise compatibility with numerous Dyson generations without naming 969350, 217160 or another identifier verified for the exact serial number. Connector appearance alone is insufficient, and no independent laboratory appears to have published dimensional measurements for these two charger tips. The fit diagnosis therefore rests on Dyson’s compatibility documentation and corroborating owner reports, not an independently measured plug diameter.

Once the correct charger fits
